Would you like to sing with us?

To join Hammerfest mixed choir, you must

• be 18 years old
• have a singing voice
• have a normal musical ear
• want to sing in a choir

18 years is easy. You must be born at least 18 years ago.

To have a singing voice, you need a voice. It must be possible to hear you, when you speak.

"A normal musical ear" might sound complicated. But you simply need to be able to sing. Your voice's pitch must match reasonbly well the tone you try to sing. Once you have practices and learned the melody.
(Very few of us have perfect pitch, but we practice, learn the melodies and gradually sing rather nicely.)

But most importantly, you must want to sing in a choir! If you do, you may join. Try it out and see if you like it. After three rehearsals, if you want to continue, you must start paying the membership fee.
